Tanner's Grill and Bar West

Excellent service, delicious food. My husband had the hamburger which are ground fresh in house. I had the per-dock fish dinner, perfectly cooked not overdone. We were also satisfied with the beer & cider selections. On tap was a great price. We had a great time. Lots of televisions. Great seeing employees helping each other out too. The bartender came by and thanked us for stopping in. . I highly recommend it! Easy on and off highway 41

Warning, the host stand is located in the center of the restaurant. There was a dark wood sign hung way up in the black ceiling which is very easy to miss. There's no signs where you walk in so it can be a bit. confusing. Also, it was very loud, not great for having conversations. It wasn't slammed busy but the voices carried. We had the Crab Logoons, and they were delicious. It's a big appetizer and we took some home. Try these if you love crab rangoons. We liked our burgers very much. They were both cooked perfectly! I love a medium well burger and they nailed it. The side of fries and rings mixed (both) was a nice option. Our service was fine, nothing outstanding or bad. She seemed to be the only one waiting tables when we came for an early weekday dinner. We will be back for more menu options.

Dark in the booth area. Booths uncomfortable - top edge hits your back wrong. Mostly high bar tables and shares if that is a struggle for some. Large TV’s everywhere!! Friendly staff. Good burgers and chicken salad.

I cannot say enough positive comments about Tanner's Grill and Bar West. We held my husband's retirement party here in their private room. From the very beginning when we met with them, their customer service was outstanding. The communication before and the day of was incredible. The day of the party, everything, and I mean everything was taken care of and the service, staff and food were fantastic! I needed to make some last minute adjustments to accommodate some guests with food allergies and they made it happen so that our friends could enjoy eating with us all. THANK YOU and I highly recommend!

Stopped in for lunch on our way to the airport. Professional, knowledgeable bartenders. Food came out quick and was great! Will definitely be back!

Mm hmmm one of my favorite places. Spicy honey garlic wings every time. So damn good and the crab lagoons are tasty! I love their craft beer selection. I love porters and stouts, anything dark but that can be very hard to find multiples to choose from. Well here they always have a great selection of dark beers to try and so yummy! Their new location by the Fox River Mall is really nice, great vibes. Well deserved, so happy for their success!

I stoped here for a late lunch. The bartender was great and the service was fast. I ordered the perch and it was out in less than 15 minutes. The food was good and the service was outstanding.

We initially went to Texas Road House but the place was packed and the wait was going to be an hour (which was totally understandable-it was right at dinnertime). We had 4 hungry kids so we stood outside trying to find another place to go to asap. A gentleman walking by asked if we were from around here, which we told him we weren't and he suggested we come here to Tanner's. I did a quick Google search and saw pictures that looked pretty good so we came right over. The place was also packed and the hostest asked how many was in our party. I told her 6 and she scanned to see barely any tables open. She asked if we'd rather eat in the private dinner room which we were more than happy about! The waitress was super sweet and amazing! The food was phenomenal!! It's hard to find new places with food that's actually great, so this bar and grill was a really good find!! We all tried different kinds of things from the menu and none of it disappointed! Thank you! We look forward to visiting again when we're in town!
